Refresher Courses

At Safety 'n Action, we maintain comprehensive training records and remind our customers when competency review training is due.

The Health and Safety in Employment Act of 1992 requires employers to ensure employees are "adequately trained" and confined space standards require "persons to be reassessed at appropriate intervals to ensure their on going competency".

In areas of safety such as Breathing Apparatus and Confined Space an annual competency assessment is recommended. Safety 'n Action also recommend a refresher in Permit to Work and Height Safety every two years.

Learning Outcomes

Our competency review programmes highlight and review all key factors in each area. This training reinforces recommended practices and assists with compliance under the Health and Safety in Employment Act of 1992. These programmes are designed for those who have already undertaken a full training course.

Attendance Pre-requisites

Completion of the full training course.

Safety Requirements

Attendees to comply with company site safety requirements - Personal protective clothing and footwear.

A certificate will be issued on the successful completion of the course.
