Engage learners. Lead learning with confidence, from anywhere.
Our online Facilitate Learning Sessions course is designed for those who want to develop their training and facilitation skills with the flexibility to learn over time. Delivered over two months, this course allows you to build, apply, and refine your skills in real workplace settings while completing your assessment requirements.
Unlike traditional classroom-based training, this course combines guided online learning with practical application in your own environment, making it ideal for those already delivering or planning to deliver training in the workplace.
This course develops the skills needed to facilitate engaging, learner-led training sessions for adult learners. Through online modules and workplace-based practice, participants will learn how to create and maintain positive learning environments, respond to learner needs and barriers, apply adult learning principles, and plan and deliver interactive training sessions that support effective learning outcomes.
To complete this course, learners must deliver training sessions in their own workplace and submit evidence as part of their assessment. This allows you to demonstrate real-world competency rather than simulated classroom activities.
All students are required to have a level of written and oral English equivalent to NCEA level 1 (year 11) or IELTS 5.5 or higher, to be eligible to attend our courses. The person responsible for making bookings or authorising attendance on the course must agree to these Terms and Conditions prior to acceptance of their student(s) onto the course. Where a student does not meet our English language requirement a reader/writer must be supplied by the student or the person responsible for authorising the student’s attendance. The reader/writer cannot be another student attending the same course.
