The New Zealand Red Cross has teamed up with Safety ‘n Action to improve the safety of New Zealand workplaces.
As part of the new reciprocal referral agreement, Safety ‘n Action will deliver health and safety training to organisations across the country, while the New Zealand Red Cross will take care of their first aid training needs.
Safety ‘n Action CEO Chris Hunter believes the new partnership will bring big benefits to New Zealand workers and workplaces.
“At Safety ‘n Action we strive to be the leader in health and safety training. It is with that in mind that when looking for a partner to take care of first aid training, the New Zealand Red Cross was the only solution,” he said.
“By working together with the Red Cross, we can keep more people safe in the workplace.”
Driven by a mission to transform New Zealand’s health and safety culture, Safety ‘n Action delivers over 65 training courses nationwide. More than 39,000 students undergo training each year across a range of programmes including Permit to Work, Height Safety, Cranes and Asbestos. The New Zealand Red Cross offers over 50 first aid courses, catering for a comprehensive range of organisational needs.
“We are extremely proud to be partnered with a like-minded provider that shares our passion for ensuring a safer New Zealand,” Hunter added.
