    Safety 'n Action is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our growing team.

    This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and creating new opportunities. You'll spend much of your day connecting with organisations across New Zealand, introducing them to our workplace health and safety training programmes, qualifying opportunities, and helping employers identify the right training solutions to keep their people safe.

    You'll be part of a supportive sales team that works closely together to generate opportunities and build long-term client relationships. With marketing-generated leads, existing clients to reconnect with, and plenty of scope to develop new business, you'll play an important role in helping more organisations access practical training that makes a real difference in workplaces every day.

    Safety 'n Action is looking for a motivated Operations & Logistics Coordinator to become the engine room behind our nationwide training delivery.

    This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organised, solving problems, and making sure everything is exactly where it needs to be. You'll play a vital role in supporting our trainers and training centres, coordinating resources, managing logistics, and ensuring thousands of course materials are printed, packed and delivered accurately every year.

    No two days are quite the same. You might be printing course manuals, coordinating courier deliveries, organising contractors to resolve facilities issues, managing training resources, or helping a trainer who needs something urgently. While much of your day will be spent in our production and printer area, you'll also work closely with teams across the business to keep everything running smoothly.

    This role is ideal for someone with strong practical safety experience who enjoys working with people and delivering hands-on training that helps workers stay safe on the job. You’ll deliver workplace safety programmes to organisations and individuals across the Dunedin region, helping build the skills and confidence that support safer workplaces.

    You’ll be part of a small local team supporting organisations in the region, while also being backed by a nationwide training organisation with established systems, resources, and expertise. Safety ‘n Action and Axiom Training have been raising the standard of workplace safety across New Zealand for nearly three decades, delivering practical training that makes a real difference in workplaces every day.

    Eligibility Criteria
    You'll ideally bring:

    • Experience delivering Health & Safety training
    • A solid understanding of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation
    • Experience in areas such as working at height, confined space training, MEWP, first aid and fire training
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • NZQA Unit Standard 4098
    • A Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
    • Practical industry experience (construction, manufacturing, trades, emergency services, or military environments)

    This opportunity has become available due to internal career progression, creating the chance for another passionate trainer to join New Zealand's largest workplace safety training provider.

    You'll be based in Auckland and work across all four of our Auckland training centres, delivering practical, engaging training that helps people return to work safer, more confident and better prepared.

    Whether you're an experienced trainer or an industry professional who enjoys sharing your knowledge, you'll be joining a supportive team that values practical experience, continuous learning and making a real difference.

    As a Healthy & Safety Trainer, you'll deliver high-quality workplace safety programmes, undertake learner assessments and complete the associated training administration. Training is delivered in a modern, paperless environment using digital learning resources, with comprehensive onboarding and ongoing professional development provided.

    Preferred Experience

    • Solid understanding of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation
    • Experience delivering Health & Safety training, particularly in:
      • Working at Heights
      • Confined Space & Gas Detection
      • Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP)
      • Fire Warden & Fire Extinguisher
      • First Aid
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Confidence delivering training using digital learning resources
    • NZQA Unit Standard 4098 (or working towards it) is preferred
    • A background in construction, manufacturing, trades, logistics, utilities or emergency services would be advantageous
