  • Health & Safety Trainer West Auckland (Full Time)

    Locations: West Auckland

    Safety ‘n Action is seeking professional safety trainers to keep up with the industry growth.  Our trainers are highly experienced and practical people. They all have a shared passion in providing their students with the knowledge and tools needed to incorporate sound safety practices into everyday decisions and activities.

    This role is training adults and high school aged children.

    A Health and Safety Trainer is required to undertake advisory services and deliver health and safety training of a high standard to our customers.  They are also required to undertake necessary administrative duties, including processing training related documentation such as evaluations and assessments. Trainers are provided with set target. This role will be delivering training materials online as well as paper.


    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Solid understanding of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation
    • Background in a formal trade, manufacturing, armed or emergency services would be desirable
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Experience in classroom training delivery, particularly in fire safety, heights, confined spaces and MEWP
    • Confident to deliver digital based training materials
    • Working toward or holding NZQA assessment qualification (US4098)

  • Health & Safety Trainer Dunedin (Full Time)

    Location: Dunedin

    Safety ‘n Action are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Trainer to join our Dunedin team.

    This role is ideal for someone with strong practical safety experience who enjoys working with people and delivering hands-on training that helps workers stay safe on the job. You’ll deliver workplace safety programmes to organisations and individuals across the Dunedin region, helping build the skills and confidence that support safer workplaces.

    You’ll be part of a small local team supporting organisations in the region, while also being backed by a nationwide training organisation with established systems, resources, and expertise. Safety ‘n Action and Axiom Training have been raising the standard of workplace safety across New Zealand for nearly three decades, delivering practical training that makes a real difference in workplaces every day.

    Eligibility Criteria
    You'll ideally bring:

    • Experience delivering Health & Safety training

    • A Health & Safety qualification (preferred)
