Blake Callesen is Safety 'n Action’s Relationship Manager for the Canterbury region, bringing over 13 years of experience in mining and construction across both Australia and New Zealand. He began his career in the Pilbara with an exploration drilling company, working his way up to Safety and Training Advisor before moving into contract management and supporting drilling teams in some of the toughest environments around. More recently, he has focused on equipment sales and business development for international OEMs, helping clients find the right tools and strategies to work safely and efficiently.
What drives Blake is simple: helping businesses create safer, smarter workplaces through quality training and ongoing support. Whether working with a small local team or a large operation, he takes the time to understand each client’s needs and provide tailored advice that makes a real difference.
From first aid to transport licensing, Blake supports training across a wide range of sectors. He enjoys the variety of the role and the chance to work with people from all walks of life, learning about the industries they represent.
Outside of work you'll find Blake re-landscaping his property to give his kids more room to roam, out in the wilderness hunting, or teaching his son how to fish.
