Starting out with NZ Railways as an Overhead Line Mechanic then moving on to take up an opportunity as a Live line Glove & Barrier Operator for the
Vector Network, my early career gave me a strong foundation of on the job skills.
Toward the latter stages, I transitioned into Training and Mentoring within the Vector network as a Trade Coach and Health & Safety Advisor.
In 2014 I left the electrical industry to take up an opportunity as a Trainer for Safety ‘n Action where I have been able to share my industry knowledge to empower others to become the best they can be in their chosen profession.
Safety “words” to live by – “Never say you know it all” even if you have many years of experience behind you, to view things with an open mind, as they say “You never stop learning “
