Safety ‘n Action’s mission is to transform New Zealand’s health and safety culture. And while much of that mahi takes place in the workplace, the team also works hard to support the next generation of safety-conscious Kiwis.
As our Education and Gateway health and safety sales specialist, Heather Latham connects high schools, universities and other education providers with Safety ‘n Action programmes - and in doing so plays an integral role in shaping our future workforce.
“Being able to play a part in growing students’ confidence and competence is super rewarding,” says Heather who has eight years of sales experience within the PTE (Private Training Establishments) sector.
“I love being able to connect and educate advisors on how we can work together to ensure our rangatahi have meaningful experiences and qualifications before they break into the workforce.”
Safety ‘n Action’s school's training equips young people with vital skills for the future, and Heather is delighted to be helping lay these foundations.
“I am incredibly passionate about education and believe that everyone has the right to access it. It is through education that people can find their true passions and their ‘why’.”
