Get a relevant workplace practical understanding and knowledge on how to deal with spills in the workplace. No unit standards are covered in this seminar.
This is a tailored course for PCBU who wish to meet the requirements of Hazardous Substance Regulation 4.5 and 4.6. This is a non unit standard course designed to inform workers of the specific hazards of their worksite and how to safety handle and deal with an emergency. We also ensure they are aware to a workers duties in respect of the substances they handle. A range of practical exercises may be completed including Decanting a liquid, Changing a gas Cylinder or Spill management.
US 21563, 27215. This course is for people working in the primary sector who require understanding of, and are responsible for, the preparation and application of agrichemicals. We also cover the best practice guidelines for those who prepare and apply agrichemicals under supervision. This course follows the NZS 8409:2004 standard for the safe, effective, and responsible use of agrichemicals.
Designed for those intending to apply for Certified Handler certification. Covers: – Requirements for Certified Handlers – Hazardous substances relevant to your role – Emergency procedures involving those substances Note: Completing this unit alone does not qualify you as a Certified Handler. Additional industry-specific training may be required based on the substances and equipment involved. Delivered online with support from a qualified trainer.
