Competition run by Safety ‘n Action and Axiom Training.
Competition dates: Entries open 1 September 2026 and close 30 September 2026.
Voting remains open until 9 October 2026, with the winner announced on 10 October 2026.
How to enter: Follow the Safety ‘n Action Facebook page and send us a private message with a photo of your Hi-Vis Hero. Eligible entries will be published on our Facebook page using our Hi-Vis Hero competition frame. Entries may be uploaded throughout the competition period, and voting can begin as soon as an entry is published.
Eligibility: The competition is open to New Zealand residents only. The prize must be redeemed in New Zealand and cannot be exchanged or transferred for cash.
Choosing the winner: The eligible photo with the most Facebook likes on the official competition post when voting closes will win. Likes on shared posts, screenshots or copies published elsewhere will not be counted.
Entry suitability: Entries must be suitable for publication on a public business social media page. Photos depicting gang signs or insignia, offensive or discriminatory gestures or scenes, illegal activity, nudity, or unsafe or dangerous behaviour will not be accepted. Safety ‘n Action reserves the right to determine the suitability of all entries and may decline or remove an entry at its discretion.
Photo permission: By submitting a photo, you confirm that you have permission to submit it and have the consent of any identifiable people shown in the image. You also give Safety ‘n Action and Axiom Training permission to publish and share the photo for the purposes of running and promoting the Hi-Vis Hero competition.
Fair voting: Any attempt to artificially manipulate voting, including fake accounts, automated or purchased likes, may result in the entry being disqualified.
The prize: One winner will receive a Ninja Slushie Machine. The prize is not transferable for cash.
Winner announcement: The winner will be announced on 10 October 2026 and contacted directly. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, Safety ‘n Action reserves the right to award the prize to the next eligible entry with the highest number of valid likes.
Safety ‘n Action reserves the right to disqualify entries that breach these terms and to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.
