US 31292 This unit standard is primarily for people employed in work that does not necessarily involve the direct use or handling of hazardous substances, but who would benefit from awareness of associated adverse effects of hazardous substances present on site. It may also be useful for first time users or handlers of hazardous substances prior to specific training in safe management and handling, and for contractors and frequent visitors.
US 31292, 31293. This course is designed for workers who use hazardous substances as part of their day-to-day tasks, such as cleaning, maintenance, and operational roles. It provides learners with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required to safely handle, store, use, and dispose of hazardous substances in accordance with workplace procedures and New Zealand health and safety legislation.
US 31290. This course is designed for managers and supervisors who are responsible for the storage, handling, and oversight of hazardous substances in the workplace. US 31290 is a prerequisite for obtaining a Controlled Substance Licence
This course is designed for those in charge of places or people who store of use hazardous substances and need to keep up to date with legal requirements or just want to refresh their knowledge to ensure the safety of their workplace and workmates
