Ensure your staff remain competent after completing their Dogman training. Competency assessments confirm that, post-course, staff are applying what they learnt to the workplace and continue to meet the required safety standards.
VOC field assessments for Dogman are designed to verify that previously trained individuals continue to apply correct slinging and load directing procedures in real-world environments. These assessments provide assurance that operators are performing their duties in line with industry regulations, best practices, and the Approved Code of Practice for Cranes.
The Verification of Competency (VOC) for Dogman assesses an operator’s ability to safely and effectively:
Sling and secure varied regular loads
Operators will be evaluated on their ability to carry out these tasks consistently and safely, ensuring that their previously achieved unit standards remain current and practically applied in the workplace.
Upon completion, you will receive a VOC report outlining each trainee’s areas of competency and any areas that may require further training or additional VOC checks in the future.
The VOC focuses on verifying that operators can perform the necessary procedures for operating these vehicles while considering the size, weight, and speed limitations of the equipment, as relevant to their license class. Additionally, operators will demonstrate proper handling techniques, safe driving practices, and key considerations to ensure the vehicle is used efficiently and safely within different environments.
