US 31292 This unit standard is primarily for people employed in work that does not necessarily involve the direct use or handling of hazardous substances, but who would benefit from awareness of associated adverse effects of hazardous substances present on site. It may also be useful for first time users or handlers of hazardous substances prior to specific training in safe management and handling, and for contractors and frequent visitors.

It provides learners with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required to safely handle, store, use, and dispose of hazardous substances in accordance with workplace procedures and New Zealand health and safety legislation.
US 21563, 27215. This course is for people working in the primary sector who require understanding of, and are responsible for, the preparation and application of agrichemicals. We also cover the best practice guidelines for those who prepare and apply agrichemicals under supervision. This course follows the NZS 8409:2004 standard for the safe, effective, and responsible use of agrichemicals.
