This is a tailored course for PCBU who wish to meet the requirements of Hazardous Substance Regulation 4.5 and 4.6. This is a non unit standard course designed to inform workers of the specific hazards of their worksite and how to safety handle and deal with an emergency. We also ensure they are aware to a workers duties in respect of the substances they handle. A range of practical exercises may be completed including Decanting a liquid, Changing a gas Cylinder or Spill management.
This course introduces the key duties and responsibilities of a Health and Safety Representative. Learners gain a practical understanding of the HSWA 2015 and complete Unit Standards 30264 and 29315.
This course builds on Stage 1 with practical skills in risk assessment and incident investigation. Learners apply workplace health and safety requirements and complete Unit Standards 30265, 497, and 17601.
This course strengthens your HSR capability by exploring positive health and safety culture in practice. Learners build skills in safe behaviours, reporting, and communication while completing Unit Standard 30266.
Ensure you understand the key requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015) and if your organisation is compliant with these. Use this seminar to seek clarification around any concerns or gaps and identify recommended solutions with our health and safety expert.
