This is a tailored course for PCBU who wish to meet the requirements of Hazardous Substance Regulation 4.5 and 4.6. This is a non unit standard course designed to inform workers of the specific hazards of their worksite and how to safety handle and deal with an emergency. We also ensure they are aware to a workers duties in respect of the substances they handle. A range of practical exercises may be completed including Decanting a liquid, Changing a gas Cylinder or Spill management.
This course introduces the key duties and responsibilities of a Health and Safety Representative. Learners gain a practical understanding of the HSWA 2015 and complete Unit Standards 30264 and 29315.
